Q: Why have you removed your phone number from your website?
A: Since 2002 we have strived to provide excellent customer service. We have answered the phone that rings relentlessly. We have tried manage phone call inquiries with voice mail, increased customer service staffing, etc, and in the end the best way for us to provide efficient quality customer support is for our busy staff to resolve questions by email. Those emails that need questions answered would be best served if you were to provide a phone number and a range of available time for calling, along with pertenent information like year/make/model of bike and description of part needed. When you reply to an email we return to you please return the conversation history along with your reply. We do not have time to pour through hundreds of emails to rebuild our conversation history.
We do not answer emails asking us how to jet your bike. You can click here for pointers and we sell jets to do the job. Choose the carb brand on the Left, click jetting components and drill down.
We don't, as a rule take phone orders, but we sell things that are not yet in our cart. In an effort to maximize efficiency, we request that you search for the item needed in our search box, or navigate to it logically on the left navigation tool by category. If you can't find what you are looking for feel free to email our sales staff to see if we can get it and we will have a reply for you most times within 24 hours. The busy season can be as much as 48 hours. When we find your product we will most likely email you back a direct link where you can purchase your item online, or our knowledgeable staff will ask further questions as needed by email or in some cases by phoning you if you are in North America.
We also have had many inquiries regarding order status. Please understand as stated in our "legal" page we may not have an item in stock and it would have to be ordered. If your order states "Not Shipped" it means it was most likely not in stock and has to be/had been ordered. Further questions about returns, cancellations, refunds etc can be answered on the legal page, and we will be happy to respond to your inquiry to the correct dept email address above.
Above all please give us some time to reply as we are usually understaffed, and overloaded. But we will surely be happy to resolve any inquiries, or complaints you may have.
Again our phone number being off site does not reflect the status of our company negatively. It is a neccesity in order to help grow our company and for us to help you more efficiently. So email that question and phone number!
